How do I create a Skillz Arena account?
You don't need an account to explore the app or play free games. Your account is created automatically when you make your first deposit.
At your first deposit, you'll be prompted to enter your name and email to secure your account.
If you already have a Skillz account from another game, use the same email to sign in -- your balance and history will merge automatically.
I already have a Skillz account. Can I use it in Arena?
Yes. Sign in with your existing Skillz email and password. Your real-cash balance, transaction history, and account details will carry over.
Bonus Cash from standalone Skillz apps may transfer too. Gemz (Arena's virtual currency) are Arena-specific and won't appear in other Skillz apps.
I accidentally got logged out. How do I get back in?
Tap 'Sign In' on the welcome screen and enter your email and password.
If you don't remember your password, tap 'Forgot Password' and follow the reset link sent to your email.
If you deposited before setting up a password and can't get back in, contact Skillz support via the app or send an email to support@skillz.com - we'll help you recover your account and balance.
How do I change my personal information?
Go to your Profile > My Account > Personal Info. You can update your display name and email.
Some changes may require identity verification for security.
How do I change my password?
Go to Profile > My Account > Change Password. Enter your current password, then set a new one. Changes take effect immediately.
How do I close my account?
To close your account, contact Skillz support via the in-app help center or email.
Before closing: withdraw any remaining cash balance, as it may be forfeited once the account is closed.
If you want a break instead of permanently closing, responsible gaming self-exclusion options are available in Settings.
What is a maintenance fee and why did I receive a notice about one?
A $2/month maintenance fee applies to accounts that have been inactive for 6 or more months (no logins or gameplay) and still hold a balance. The fee is first deducted from any Bonus Cash balance. Once Bonus Cash is exhausted, it is deducted from your real Cash balance. Accounts inactive for 12 months or more may be closed. You'll receive email and in-app notices before any action is taken. Simply logging in or playing a game will stop the fee. If you've already been charged and believe it was in error, contact Skillz support.
