About Skillz Arena

What is Skillz Arena?  
 Skillz Arena is a single mobile app that brings together multiple real-money skill games under one roof -- with a unified wallet, a single account, and a seamless experience across every game.
Instead of installing a separate app for each game, you download Arena once and get access to a growing portfolio of games including Solitaire, Puzzle Blockz, Bingo, and more.
All competitions are skill-based: you're matched against a player of similar ability, and the better score wins. No luck, no randomness; just skill.

How is Skillz Arena different from other Skillz games?  
Standalone Skillz games are individual apps for a single game. Arene is one app with many games.
One account and one wallet work across all games in Arena.
Loading and match flows are faster and more streamlined than the older Skillz SDK.
Arena uses a new currency called Gemz for free play (replacing Z coins used in standalone apps).
If you already have a Skillz account, your existing balance and history carry over when you sign into Arena.

Is Skillz Arena free to download and play?
Yes -- Arena is free to download. Many games have free practice modes you can play with Gemz (our virtual currency for free play) at no cost.
Cash competitions require a real-money entry fee, but you only pay when you choose to enter a paid match.

Who can play Skillz Arena?
Anyone aged 18 or older in a jurisdiction where real-money skill gaming is permitted.
Cash competitions are available in most US states. A small number of states are restricted by local law -- the app will notify you if cash play is unavailable in your location.
Free/practice play with Gemz is available to all users regardless of location. Please refer here for eligible regions.

Is Skillz Arena available on iOS and Android?  
iOS: Available on the Apple App Store.
Android: Available as a direct APK download from skillz.com (not on Google Play Store). The app will prompt you to enable 'Install from Unknown Sources' during setup -- this is normal and safe.
