Why are some of my games pending or canceled?

We know that pending games can be frustrating; however, they are a potential side effect of the way that we match. Most matches will find opponents fairly quickly, but sometimes this can take up to a few days.

If for some reason we can't find a worthy opponent for you within 7 days, the tournament will be automatically canceled and your cash or gemz entry fee will be refunded. You will never be charged an entry fee for a game that is not completed!

On rare occasions, some matches may be canceled. These types of cancellations are usually by the Skillz team directly when a new update is released or a technical issue comes. This is done to ensure fairness, as we always want to be sure you're playing under the same conditions as your opponent!
