Why can Skillz Staff play against me?

Skillz Staff members test live tournaments to make sure our platform is awesome! We are all passionate about mobile games and our products. As a result, you may see a Skillz team member playing your favorite Skillz game with you! When you play a Skillz staff member, you can identify them by their Staff badge. Skillz Staff cannot withdraw from the system or profit off of Skillz games.

If you compete against a Skillz Staff member and win, you will be awarded the match prize and you can brag that you won against one of the Skillz staff members!  If you lose against a Skillz staff member, you will always be refunded your entry fee (both z and cash).
